The Paikka Recovery softshell jacket is a perfect transitional jacket.
When it's still too warm for thick winter jackets, but the dog needs a little extra warmth, the softshell jacket is just the thing!
It protects against wind and even light rain. The FIR fabric (far infrared) ensures that body heat is reflected back, heat storage is increased and blood circulation in the fabric is improved.
For sporting dogs, this supports the natural recovery process after training. The large muscle groups are also protected from cooling down during breaks in training.
Older dogs or dogs with orthopaedic problems can also benefit greatly from this.
The softshell jacket is easy to put on and take off thanks to the click fastener. The collar and belly strap are adjustable. This allows the coat to be perfectly adapted to the dog. Elasticated and adjustable leg loops ensure an optimum fit and prevent the coat from slipping when moving.
There is an opening at the back for the lead. This can be individually adjusted using 2 zips. The zip is sealed to be water-repellent.
For optimum visibility in the dark and in poor lighting conditions, the hem is edged with a reflective strip . This lights up brightly when it is caught by a light source. This increases safety on evening walks for both dog and owner.
