The Ruffwear Swamp Cooler™ harness is the must-have for hot summer days!
The multifunctional dog harness combines pleasant cooling through evaporative cooling with all the elements that a well-fitting and escape-proof harness needs.
The 3-layer construction of the cooling elements on the back and chest keeps the moisture in the absorbent middle layer after wetting with water, thus ensuring longer-lasting cooling. The mesh fabric on the inside of the harness keeps the dog dry and ensures maximum comfort. The special fabric also prevents heat from building up. The outside reflects the heat and allows it to evaporate.
6 adjustment points ensure an optimum fit. This makes the harness suitable for a wide range of dogs.
There are 2 options for attaching the leash: a sturdy yet lightweight aluminium V-ring on the back and a reinforced fabric loop on the back of the harness. The rear ring is suitable for attaching a canicross leash or a search leash for mantrailing and the like, for example.
The harness also has a padded handle to help the dog over difficult passages on hikes, for example. The 3-strap system prevents your dog from slipping out of the harness. There is also a loop on the handle for attaching a The Beacon™ safety light (sold separately) for optimum visibility in the dark.
How does the cooling harness work?
Simply dip the harness in water or moisten it with a water bottle before putting it on. The process can be repeated as often as you like once the harness has dried again.
The cooling harness is available in 3 bright, summery colours:
- Sage Green
- Graphite Gray (light grey)
- Heliotrope Purple (blue lilac)
Note: The harness is not suitable for abseiling dogs!
Care: Close buckles, gentle wash cycle at 30°C with mild detergent, air dry
