Dietary complete food for adult cats - to support the kidneys
The new Farmina"Vet Life Natural Diet" line is a natural nutritional solution for the well-being of cats. It is revolutionary as it is the first all-natural diet. The diet line has been created in collaboration with the Faculty of Animal Nutrition of the University of Naples - with nature as the guiding principle of the Farmina philosophy.
Vet Life veterinary diets are adapted to the physiology of cats and have the following characteristics:
- Use of exclusively natural antioxidants (extracts containing tocopherol)
- no genetically modified ingredients
- No cereals in many varieties
- selected recipes with original cereals (spelt and oats)
- low glycaemic index - gentle regulation of blood sugar levels
- packed under a protective atmosphere
- Respect as a principle of our scientific research
The dry food Farmina VetLife - Renal Cat Adult supports the kidney function of cats with chronic or acute renal insufficiency.
A reduced protein level helps to limit the deposition of nitrogen catabolites. The high-quality protein comes from chicken, egg and hydrolysed fish protein. Lowered sodium levels help prevent high blood pressure and lowered phosphorus levels help treat secondary hyperparathyroidism.
The essential omega-3 fatty acids contained in this food can have an anti-inflammatory effect and help maintain renal perfusion.
As many kidney patients suffer from loss of appetite, this gluten-free cat food only uses high-quality, tasty ingredients for maximum acceptance.

Adult
At 9-12 months a cat - depending on the breed - is fully grown. Smaller breeds are usually mature earlier than their larger counterparts. Dietary and activity requirements change as the cat becomes an adult. The diet no longer needs to be as high in calories as it is for a kitten, and depending on whether the cat is an outdoor or indoor cat, adequate activity should be provided to keep the cat mentally and physically fit.
All body sizes
This product is suitable for all cats, regardless of their body size.
