Dietary complete food for adult cats - to dissolve struvite stones
The new Farmina"Vet Life Natural Diet" line is a natural nutritional solution for the well-being of cats. It is revolutionary as it is the first all-natural diet. The food line has been created in collaboration with the Faculty of Animal Nutrition of the University of Naples - with nature as the guiding principle of the Farmina philosophy.
Vet Life veterinary diets are adapted to the physiology of cats and have the following characteristics:
- Use of exclusively natural antioxidants (extracts containing tocopherol)
- no genetically modified ingredients
- No cereals in many varieties
- selected recipes with original cereals (spelt and oats)
- low glycaemic index - gentle regulation of blood sugar levels
- packed under a protective atmosphere
- Respect as a principle of our scientific research
Farmina VetLife - Struvite Cat Adult dry food induces the dissolution of struvite stones in cats and reduces their formation.
Struvite has an acidifying effect due to calcium sulphate. The pH of the urine is lowered, favouring the dissolution of crystals.
A reduced gastensium content limits the formation of struvite crystals.
The low calcium and phosphorus content helps control phosphataemia, preventing the formation of urinary stones (uroliths).
The reduced protein content of the chicken/fish-based recipe with rice, maize and oats helps reduce the urea content in the urine.

Adult
At 9-12 months a cat - depending on the breed - is fully grown. Smaller breeds are usually mature earlier than their larger counterparts. Dietary and activity requirements change as the cat becomes an adult. The diet no longer needs to be as high in calories as it is for a kitten, and depending on whether the cat is an outdoor or indoor cat, adequate activity should be provided to keep the cat mentally and physically fit.
All body sizes
This product is suitable for all cats, regardless of their body size.
