The Front Range™ Day Pack dog rucksack is a practical day rucksack with the typical Ruffwear saddle bags.
This rucksack is based on the very popular Front Range harness. With its padded and infinitely adjustable straps , it ensures optimum stability and maximum carrying comfort. The additional waist belt, which is also softly padded, prevents the harness from slipping, especially when walking downhill. Click fasteners allow the rucksack to be put on and taken off quickly.
The spacious pockets are closed with a zip . The stretch mesh inner pockets keep things organised and prevent accessories from slipping around in the bag while running.
There are 3 options for attaching the leash: 1 lightweight aluminium V-ring on the back and 2 reinforced fabric loops on the back and front of the chest. When attached to the front of the chest, the dog is less likely to pull on the lead as it is diverted when pulled. The loop at the back allows the dog to be led on a jogging harness, for example, and do some pulling work.
The padded handle on the back makes it possible to lift the dog slightly or to support and secure it when climbing over obstacles.
Highly visible reflectors are fitted all round to make the dog more visible in poor visibility conditions. This increases safety for both dog and owner.
The rucksack is available in 2 colours :
