The HitchHiker™ is an innovative leash system that offers several possible uses:
You can either wear the waist belt around your belly - for hands-free dog walking -, hold it in your hand like a tow line or tie it around a tree or post to keep your dog safe for a short time.
The 3.65 m long and 7 mm thick kernmantle rope can be adjusted to the desired length and locked in place using the one-handed HitchLock™ rope lock. Excess rope is simply stowed in the spacious hip pocket. The hip belt can also be infinitely adjusted to the desired length and fastened with a click buckle. This can also be stowed in a second, smaller compartment to save space.
The rope line is attached to harness or the collar using the sturdy yet lightweight Crux Clip carabiner. This can be operated with one hand and can even be locked.
Whether on a short hike or a cosy picnic, you are always well equipped with the leash system.
To improve safety in poor lighting conditions, the entire length of the rope is covered with a bright reflective strip . If it is illuminated by light, it lights up brightly. Dog and owner are therefore no longer overlooked.
The outer material is water-repellent. Small accessories or poo bags can be stored in the lightweight mesh pocket on the front of the stowage compartment.
The Hitch Hiker™ canvas system is available in 2 colours:
