Kattovit Wet Cat Food Urinary Chicken

To reduce recurrences of struvite stones

Kattovit Urinary diet has been specially developed for cats with a tendency to form urinary stones (struvite). Struvite crystals are mainly found in urine that is too alkaline. Kattovit Urinary has a slightly acidifying effect, which is supposed to inhibit precipitation of the crystals. The composition of this special food was chosen so that the urine has a pH value of 6.4 and is thus in the acidic range.

A reduced mineral content (especially magnesium) is intended to protect the cat from renewed crystal formation. DL-methionine and calcium sulphate ensure a slight acidification of the urine.

A good water intake is also important for problems with the lower urinary tract. Kattovit wet food contributes its share to this. Of course, this special food provides the cat with all the important nutrients, vitamins and minerals, even if the food is given over a longer period of time.

A very high acceptance is achieved by fine pieces of chicken with a little beef.

Adult

At 9-12 months a cat - depending on the breed - is fully grown. Smaller breeds are usually mature earlier than their larger counterparts. Dietary and activity requirements change as the cat becomes an adult. The diet no longer needs to be as high in calories as it is for a kitten, and depending on whether the cat is an outdoor or indoor cat, adequate activity should be provided to keep the cat mentally and physically fit.

Niereninsuffizenz, Harnsteine und wiederkehrende Harnwegsinfekte, Leberprobleme oder auch Gelenks- sowie Haut- und Fellprobleme sein. In Absprache mit dem Tierarzt sorgen Veteriärdiäten für die nötige Unterstützung der tierärztlichen Therapie.

Alleinfuttermittel

Ein Alleinfuttermittel ist laut Futtermittelverordnung dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei alleiniger Fütterung das Tier mit allen notwendigen Nährstoffen versorgt ist. Eine Zufütterung von anderen Produkten ist aus ernährungsphysiologischer Sicht nicht notwendig, da die Ration bedarfsdeckend ist.
