Some dogs love their food so much that they literally gobble it up. This can put a lot of strain on the digestion and, in the worst case, lead to flatulence and diarrhoea.

Paikka's Slow Feed bowl forces the dog to eat around a 3D shape, which prevents it from gulping the food as much and encourages it to eat slowly. Chewing the food also has a positive effect on dental hygiene.
For dogs that eat poorly, the special shape can awaken interest in the food, as the dog has to work for its food.
Like the Cool Bowl, the Slow Feed bowls are made of patented, self-cooling ceramic material. To activate the cooling effect, it is sufficient to immerse the bowl in water for 45 seconds. This not only helps keep the food cool, it can even reduce bacterial growth.

Please make sure that the bowl does not move when washing in the dishwasher!
