PERRO Joint Powder contains 20 % mussel meat extract from the New Zealand mussel(Perna Canaliculus), also known as green-lipped mussel.
It has been developed with the intention of maintaining and strengthening the dog's joy of movement.

PERRO Pro Gelenk is a 100 % pure active ingredient complex that was specifically developed to build up and strengthen connective tissue structures.
The combination of minerals and shell extracts promotes mobility, vitality and performance.

Pro Joint Powder is used to strengthen the musculoskeletal system (tendons, ligaments, intervertebral discs and joint capsules). The joint is the movable connection of two or more bone ends with cartilage and joint gaps, it is constantly supplied with synovial fluid. Muscles, tendons and ligaments give the necessary strength.
Often, however, these connective tissue structures tend to undergo negative changes for breeding or husbandry reasons and, of course, also due to age .
Particularly in old age, the body loses the ability to form sufficient cartilage substance, and the cartilage is no longer able to store enough water in the joints. Mussel meat extract from the green-lipped mussel Perna Canaliculus is, among other things, responsible for the formation of cartilage substance by stimulating the production of active substances that are needed for cartilage formation .

When to use PERRO Pro Joint

Puppies:

Even puppies and young dogs can show clear signs of pain and restricted movement, e.g. due to overloading.
The optimal interaction of the natural substances of PERRO Pro Gelenk 40 guarantees the highest possible bioavailability and thus ensures an optimal supply of many important vital substances.

Breeding and performance:

It favours a very good formation of the connective tissue structures of the foetuses and, in the growth phase of puppies and young dogs, ensures a correct build-up of the musculoskeletal system and the optimal formation of the auricular cartilage. This favours the stability of the ears in breeds such as shepherds or bull terriers.

PERRO Pro Gelenk supplementary feed has a prophylactic effect in the case of weaknesses of the connective tissue caused by breeding and husbandry .

Older animals:

The mineral and nutrient combination improves the quality of life especially in older animals with already existing connective tissue problems. Also arthrosis problems, caused e.g. by HD (hip joint dysplasia) or ED (elbow joint dysplasia), can be reduced by regular intake.
