PERRO Insect & Millet is a complete, gluten-free food based on insects with millet and sweet potatoes for adult dogs. It is particularly suitable for dogs with gastrointestinal problems, food allergies and food intolerances.
Our selective dry food with insects also deliberately avoids the use of rice or potatoes, otherwise common sources of carbohydrates.
The high-quality insect protein offers an ideal alternative to meat. The valuable essential fatty acids(omega-3 and omega-6) and minerals (rich in zinc, iron and calcium) provide your dog with all the important nutrients it needs.
Millet provides a high proportion of essential amino acids and a particularly high proportion of iron. It is also rich in B vitamins and zinc.
Sweet potatoes are not only particularly nutritious, they are also full of vitamins and trace elements and have a high beta-carotene content.
PERRO Insects & Millet uses insects as the sole source of protein and has an excellent amino acid composition. From a health and nutritional point of view, insect protein is more than equal to other animal protein sources - with a biological value of 85%. Production is also particularly climate-friendly, as the entire insect can be processed.

The use of insect protein protects our environment and our natural resources and is climate-friendly. Significantly fewer greenhouse gases are produced compared to, for example, the use of cattle as a source of protein (greenhouse gases for 1kg protein: cattle 175 kg insect 10 kg), soil pollution is significantly lower and insects leave a much smaller water footprint (water consumption for 1kg protein: cattle 112,000 litres insect 23,000 litres). In addition, 100% of an insect can be utilised, compared to only 40% of the edible part of a cow.
