Dietary wet food for struvite stones
The new Farmina"Vet Life Natural Diet" line is a natural nutritional solution for the well-being of dogs. It is revolutionary as it is the first all-natural diet. The diet food line has been created in collaboration with the Faculty of Animal Nutrition of the University of Naples - with nature as the guiding principle of the Farmina philosophy.
Vet Life veterinary diet is adapted to the physiology of dogs and has the following characteristics:
- no genetically modified ingredients
- No cereals in many varieties
- selected recipes with original cereals (spelt and oats) or quinoa
- low glycaemic index - gentle regulation of blood sugar levels
- without BPA
- gentle cooking method
- Respect as a principle of our scientific research
The wet food Farmina VetLife - Struvite induces the dissolution of struvite stones and reduces their formation.
Struvite has an acidifying effect on the urine through calcium sulphate. The pH value of the urine is lowered, thus favouring the dissolution of crystals. Reduced gastensium content limits the formation of struvite stones.
The low calcium and phosphorus content of the grain-free and gluten-free wet food helps control phosphataemia and inhibits the formation of urinary stones (uroliths).
The reduced protein content of the chicken/fish-based recipe with sweet potato & quinoa helps reduce the urea content in the urine.
All advantages at a glance
- has an acidifying effect due to calcium sulphate
- for low pH-value
- for dissolving struvite crystals
- Control of phosphataemia
- can also be used preventively
- chicken/fish based
- gluten-free & grain-free
- with quinoa and sweet potato
- adjusted mineral content
- reduced protein content
- for all dog breeds
Adult
Depending on the breed, a dog is considered mature or adult at about 12 - 24 months. In general, it can be said that smaller breeds are physically mature earlier than larger ones. Exercise, mental workout and a food that is specifically tailored to the needs is the key to a happy dog life.
All body sizes
From Chihuahua to Great Dane, this product is suitable for all breeds and sizes.
